1. Preamble
By enrolling a student at Mount Moreh Public Higher Secondary School (“the School”), the student and their parent/guardian agree to abide by the Terms & Conditions set forth in this document, in addition to rules, policies, and instructions issued by the School from time to time.
These Terms & Conditions aim to ensure a disciplined, moral, and academically conducive environment in alignment with the School’s values of learning, leadership, and excellence.
2. School Nature, Affiliation & Administration

The School is a Christian minority institution located in Moreh, Manipur.

The School is governed by the Managing Board, Mount Moreh Public School, registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 bearing registration number TPL/001/Nur-X/25.

The Higher Secondary Section is an upgrade of Mount Moreh Public School and currently offers admission to Class XI Arts and Science Streams.

Administrative and academic decisions are final and binding upon students and guardians.
3. Admission & Enrollment

Admission is subject to merit, conduct, availability of seats, and adherence to the admission guidelines.

The School reserves the right to accept or reject any admission application without giving reasons.

Submission of false documents, misleading information, or manipulated certificates will lead to cancellation of admission without refund.
4. Fees & Payment

All fees must be paid on or before the due date as notified by the School.

Fees, once paid, are non-refundable, except in cases clearly specified by the School.

Delayed payments may incur late fees, penalties, or result in suspension of services (exams, attendance, certificates, etc.).

A student may be barred from attending classes, exams, or activities if fees are not cleared.
5. School Working Days & Hours

The School operates from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Changes to timing may be announced by the School if required.

Students must be punctual and remain within the campus during school hours unless permitted otherwise.
6. Academic Evaluation
-
The School conducts periodic assessments, subject enrichment sessions, class tests, and examinations as deemed necessary.

Exams postponed due to unforeseen reasons will be conducted on the next working day unless otherwise announced.

Absence from assessments affects promotion and eligibility for higher examinations.

Use of unfair means during tests or exams is strictly prohibited and will lead to disciplinary action.
7. Attendance, Leave & Absence

Regular attendance is compulsory.

Leave is permitted only in cases of sudden illness or unavoidable circumstances.

A written application from a parent/guardian is required for absence.
-
Reasons such as birthdays, private trips, study leave, festivals, or personal errands are not valid grounds for leave.

Repeated or prolonged absence may result in detention or disciplinary action.
8. Medium of Instruction

The School is an English Medium institution.

Students and teachers must communicate in English on campus and during official school activities.

Exceptions are allowed only during MIL (Mother Tongue) classes or related activities.
9. Behaviour & Discipline

Students must respect teachers, staff, peers, and school property.

The School reserves the right to discipline students for misconduct, violation of norms, or disrespectful behaviour.

Severe violations may result in suspension or expulsion.
10. Prohibited Items & Campus Conduct

Mobile phones are strictly prohibited without explicit permission from the competent authority.

The campus is drug-free. Smoking, alcohol, narcotics, or related substances are forbidden.

Weapons, harmful objects, or dangerous materials are not allowed on campus.
11. Uniform & Dress Code

Students must wear the prescribed uniform on designated days:

Boys: Navy blue pants, off-white shirt, school tie, black shoes, white socks (Mon–Thu)

Girls: Grey striped skirt, off-white shirt, black shoes, black socks (Mon–Thu)

All students: School T-shirt on Fridays

Unapproved modifications or violations of uniform standards may result in disciplinary action.
12. Co-Curricular & Extra-Curricular Activities

13. Use of Campus Facilities

Any damage caused intentionally or through negligence will be compensated by the student/guardian.
14. Transportation & Safety

Students are responsible for their safe travel to and from the School unless otherwise notified.

The School is not liable for incidents outside the campus, including privately arranged transportation.
15. Privacy & Student Records

The School maintains academic and personal data of students for administrative and educational purposes.

Data may be shared with government or examination authorities when necessary.

Students and guardians shall not misuse or falsify school documents or records.
16. Religious Identity

As a Christian minority institution, the School promotes moral and spiritual values rooted in Christian teachings.

Students of all faiths are welcome and must display mutual respect and tolerance.

Participation in routine prayers or value-based activities does not imply conversion.
17. School Prayer
The School Prayer is an integral part of the institution’s daily ethos. Students must maintain discipline, respect, and silence during prayer sessions.
18. Termination or Expulsion
A student may be dismissed, suspended, or expelled due to:

Substance abuse

Persistent violations of rules

Non-payment of fees

Actions bringing disrepute to the School
The Principal’s decision shall be final.
19. Amendments
The School reserves the right to revise, update, or amend these Terms & Conditions as needed without prior notice. Updated copies will be made available through official communication channels.
20. Acceptance
Enrollment at Mount Moreh Public Higher Secondary School constitutes full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions by the student and their parent/guardian.
